Ticket Price Includes: A free 2012 Run Pin, weekend admission with all day Friday and Saturday music, biker games, bike contest, wet tee shirt contest, free camping, free shuttle bus from parking down to the event, hot showers, and access to over 50 vendors! We have decided to lease the Riverview Ranch for the 2012 event.  Kiwanis of the Redwoods are working hard to insure everything’s ready to go and hope that you will join us for our second year! 

If you missed last years run or never got a run pin, don’t worry we have plenty for sale right here on our website, as well as some great calendars in the store. This year’s music line-up is now complete and we’ve got some killer talent in store along with some real surprises you’ll only discover by being at the run as it happens!

Parking: RV price is $35 per day. If you come in on Thursday, (whole event) $100,  Friday is $70, Saturday is $35. Cars are $20 each entrance (if in
concession lot = free).

About Kiwanis

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The first club started in Detroit Michigan in 1915 as a business and professional men’s club. Over the years it has evolved into the service-focused groups of men and women that you see today. Today, there are now over 7,700 Kiwanis clubs in 80 countries.Kiwanis of the Redwoods was chartered in March of 1950 in Garberville, Ca.Our club has changed through the years and today we have 28 members and meet regularly at the Healy Senior Center in Redway with additional meetings ranging anywhere from Phillipsville to Piercy. We serve a large rural area and have members from Benbow to Rio Dell.

Our annual fundraisers and service projects include: Toys for Tots,Redwood Run, & our Benbow Fourth of July food booth. We also award several scholarships to the local high school graduates and maintain 6 school bus stops so the kids can stay out of the rain.Our Toys for Tots Event began in 1991. Last year it was held on Sunday December 12th. The after parade party, bbq and raffle was held at the Riverwood Inn in Phillipsville. We collected donated toys and raised money to provide approximately 100 area children with toys for Christmas.Our Kiwanis Original Redwood Run began in 1977. Back then the venue was held at French’s Camp. The club and the event has evolved over the years, and the most recent site ended up being the “Riverview Ranch” in Piercy.In 2011, Kiwanis held the run on June 10-12 and for a first time event, it was well attended.  It was a beautiful site under the redwood groves on the South Fork of the Eel River. Our event featured three days of camping, live music, biker games and shows.  We are looking forward to RWR 2012!
